maxfan8JAA: What I'm suggesting is that *anybody* who has typed a single message (and was not banned, ofc) would be allowed to vote

JAAmaxfan8: Please read through the summary linked in the topic.

jodizzleHm, I've been meaning to lay down my claims on the "lines of battle". Maybe I'll do that this weekend.
-
JAAYeah, same.
-
jodizzleI don't think it's been discussed much directly, but one of the really important reasons for having a decision making system in place is to decide how to spend the Open Collective money.
-
jodizzleI mean there are other accountability issues there as well, probably, but it would be nice to tap into
-
t3I will try to keep up with this discussion soon.
-
maxfan8JAA: If you set the supermajority threshold fairly high, you could reasonably claim that you have a consensus.
-
maxfan8jodizzle: I'm a big fan of RONR (actually have a copy sitting right next to me), but I'm uncertain if IRC is conducive to RONR
-
maxfan8Another problem with RONR (from my view) is that it *isn't* open source/freely available!
-
maxfan8JAA: Does anybody actually oppose moving to hackint? An unamious vote may be another option if nobody actually opposes.
-
JAAmaxfan8: The whole "do we move to hackint" discussion has been postponed until we have a process to hold that discussion and vote. So I don't know.
-
maxfan8Ok, it doesn't seem like there has been any discussion as to whether any vote should be by secret ballot or public voice vote (I didn't see it in the quorum summary)
-
maxfan8The downside to secret ballot is that people will not be to understand why somebody is voting a particular way
